Restaurant de Zwaan is located in the heart of the charming village of Elspeet, in the historic building of Herberg de Zwaan, which dates back to 1882. It is a place where history, hospitality, and enjoyment come together.

Erik and his team cook with a passion for quality, flavor, and hospitality. Mediterranean influences, such as our pasta dishes, blend with the rich flavors of Veluwe cuisine. We cook with the seasons and use locally sourced ingredients. Inspired by the forests and heathlands of the Veluwe, game is a regular feature on our menu.
Here you’ll find dishes with character: carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions. We serve dishes that invite you to indulge, including refined appetizers (starting at approximately €17.50) and flavorful main courses (approx. €32.50). For those who like to linger at the table a little longer, there’s an after-dinner menu featuring carefully selected desserts, cheeses, and complementary digestifs.
The Innkeeper's Menu
In addition to our à la carte menu, we serve a rotating 3-course Herbergiers menu, where we combine the finest seasonal ingredients to create an evening of complete enjoyment. For those who wish to complete the culinary experience, the Herbergiers Menu can be enhanced with a carefully curated wine pairing.
Wine Tasting at Restaurant de Zwaan
A fine wine rounds out the dining experience. In addition to an extensive selection of house wines, our “Herbergier aan Tafel” program offers a special wine selection carefully paired with the dishes on our menu. We also feature our “Gems from the Wine Cellar”: carefully selected wines, each with its own story. We serve many wines by the glass, so you can discover different styles and flavors. Our hostesses will be happy to advise you.
Lunch and Dinner
From Tuesday through Saturday, you’re welcome to join us for dinner at Restaurant de Zwaan. Reservations can be made between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Lunch is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Curious about the dishes we’re currently serving? Check out our menus.
Booking
To ensure that every guest receives the attention and quality of service we are known for, we limit the number of guests we welcome each evening. For this reason, we recommend reserving a table in advance, even if you are staying with us overnight.
